This study was intended to evaluate the effectiveness of the intake of dates with amla on the anaemic status among adolescent girls with anaemia. After conducting a survey on 100 adolescent girls to rule out girls with anaemia, among this 74 adolescent girls with the haemoglobin below 12mg/dl was detected. Purposive sampling was followed for this study. Out of 74 children, 30 children were randomly assigned to the control group and another 30 to the experimental group. The anaemic status based on haemoglobin score among adolescent girls in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (‘t'value is 6.72*). The anaemic status based on signs and symptoms score among adolescent girls in the experimental group was lower than the control group (‘t'value is 5.95*).The result of the study implies that the intake of amla with dates was very effective in adolescent girls who had anaemia.
