Psycho social aspects of institutionalized elderly and home based elderly

A Comparative Study to Determine the Psychosocial Aspects of Institutionalized Elderly with Home based Elderly at Coimbatore. The non probability convenient sampling technique was used to collect 20 home based elders and 20 elders from senior citizen home. Data was gathered through demographic profile and WHO Modified Psychosocial inventory which consists of three aspects such as positive feeling, self-esteem and negative feelings. The result reveals that the Psychological and social well-being was good in Home based Elders than Institutionalized.
