Peripheral Arterial Disease (PVD) can result from atherosclerosis, inflammatory processes leading to stenosis, embolism, or thrombus formation. This study aimed to determine the knowledge, attitude and practice related to risk factors among patients with peripheral arterial disease attending the vascular clinic and admitted in surgical ward. Only 4% had adequate knowledge on the risk factors for peripheral vascular disease and its consequences. Educational initiatives are needed to encourage patients to seek early medical attention and raise awareness of modifiable risk factors in the community.
