Pregnancy is a special event. The labor and birth process is an exciting, anxiety provoking situation for the woman and her family. Hence, a study was conducted to assess the effect of self instructional module (SIM) on knowledge regarding selected aspects of safe motherhood among 50 primigravida mothers. The study concludes that the knowledge was significantly increased after the administration of self instructional module.
