Adolescence is a stage in which youths experience a rapid change in their psychological and social development. The gender influences the psychosocial development of children. The purpose of the study was to assess the gender differences and similarities in adolescent's psychosocial health. Using convenient sampling technique, 240 study subjects were selected. A self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection. The demographic data showed that 61 (25.4%) adolescents were 17 years old and 58 (24.2%) adolescents were 18 years old. The current study showed that 75 (31.25%) adolescent males and 68 (28.33%) adolescent females enjoy physical activities daily and 74 (30.83%) males and 86 (35.83%) females feel depressed very often. The results throw light on different aspects of unhealthy psychosocial behaviour of the adolescents. It is important that nurses have to implement an intervention towards psychosocial health promotion among adolescents.
