Abstract

Gladiolus cv. White Prosperity corms were treated with Trichoderma viride and Pseudomonas fluorescence as soil and corm treatments under pot conditions. The results indicated that Trichoderma viride and Pseudomonas fluorescence were effective for enhancing corms and cormels weight, number of filiform and contractile roots, equatorial and polar diameter of corm, number of cormels and propagation coefficient. However, treatments did not have any significant effect on number of corms produced per plant. T. viride gave better results comparative to P. fluorescence.
