A study was carried out in tuberose (Polianthes tuberose Linn.) cv. Pearld Double to investigate the effect of organics (Panchgavya and Manchurian mushroom tea) with different concentrations (2 and 4%) and their combination at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, during April-October 2006. The bulbs of appropriate size (1.5–2.0 cm) were planted at spacing of 25x25 cm. Spike emergence (85.13 d) and number of days to first floret opening (25.13) were earliest in Panchagavya (4%) spray. The same treatment showed highest spike length (98.16 cm), lowest floret diameter (4.21 cm), number of florets/spike (65.25) and spike yield/m2 (38.25). In postharvest studies, total number of florets (50.75), number of opened florets (45.00), lowest floret diameter (4.15 cm), water uptake (135.50 ml) and vase life (17.00 d) were found to be highest in Panchgavya (4%) spray. Number of days to 50 per cent flowering was recorded earliest (550) in Panchgavya (4%) spray.
