Abstract

Among all the 3 N sources studied, in general CAN and ammonium sulphate were found at par and better as compared to urea. CAN at 30 g N/m2 was found best for increasing plant-height, spike length and leaf number while 40 g/m2 was best for number of florets per spike but rachis length was recorded best under 40 g N/m2 of ammonium sulphate.
