Effect of foliar spray of micronutrients on growth parameters in Ixora (Ixora coccinea L.)

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out to study the effect of foliar spray of micronutrients on growth parameters in Ixora. The results revealed that among the various treatments, treatment T4 [FeSO4 (0.5%) + ZnSO4 (0.5%)] recorded the highest plant height (75.34, 88.94 and 104.80 cm), maximum plant spread North-South (75.73, 86.50 and 102.00 cm) and East-West (78.86, 87.81 and 103.10 cm), maximum leaf length (6.03, 6.19 and 6.33 cm), leaf width (3.07, 3.33 and 3.54 cm) after 60, 90 and 120 days after pruning respectively and highest number of laterals per plant (185.53).
