The present experiment was carried out in the Department of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture, College of Agriculture, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in which eleven French marigold genotypes including varieties were analysed for diversity with the help of molecular markers. DAMD markers were used for genetic analysis of genotypes. The primers yielded a total of 36 amplified DNA fragments of which29 alleles were polymorphic. The range of bands produced was 3 to 9 with an average of 7.2 per primer whereas, 5.8 was the average number of polymorphic fragments primer-1. The observed range of polymorphism was 0% to 100%. The average value of PIC was 0.254. Similarity coefficient ranged from 0.48–0.90 as revealed by UPGMA cluster analysis of DAMD marker. The clustered dendrogram was grouped into 3 major clusters at different similarity coefficient. Cluster I exhibited 0.737 similarity coefficient which consisted of 6 genotypes. Cluster II exhibited a 0.556 similarity coefficient which included only 1 genotype. Group III exhibited 0.731 similarity coefficient which included 4 genotypes.
