The study was conducted on various vegetative and flowering parameters of eight single type varieties of tuberose during the year 2017–2018. The experiment was conducted using randomized block design (RBD) and replicated thrice. The results of the study revealed that among all varieties, plant height (53.66 cm), flowering duration (26.66 days), weight of floret per spike (52.32 g), diameter of bulbs (3.67 cm) and bulblets (1.87 cm) and vase life (6.95 days) was observed highest in cv. ‘Arka Prajwal’, while cv. ‘Bidhan Rajani H-2’ tool least days to spike emergence (65.8 days) and the maximum bulbs per clump (3.89). The length of spike was also highest (86.46 cm) in cv. ‘Bidhan Rajani H-1’. Among all the varieties ‘Arka Prajwal’ performed best in most of the parameters under Punjab conditions. Morphological parameters were also recorded as per DUS (Distinctiveness, Uniformity and Stability) guidelines to develop identification keys of tuberose varieties.
