The experiment was conducted to study the efficacy of Panchagavya, Jeevambrut and Ascophyllum nodosum (seaweed) extract biostimulant on growth, flowering and yield of chrysanthemum cv. ‘Poornima White’. Panchagavya was applied at 1%, 3% and 5%, Jeevambrut at 1%, 3% and 5%, Ascophyllum nodosum at 0.3%, 0.5% and 0.7% and control as without any applications. The results showed that Ascophyllum nodosum 0.7% was found to be significantly superior for all growth and yield parameters of chrysanthemum cv. ‘Poornima White’. The maximum plant height (48.55 cm), number of leaves (179.9) and leaves length (7.5cm), and minimum days taken for first flower bud appearance (68.4 day) and also for flowering (107.06 day) were noticed in Ascophyllum nodosum 0.7%. The maximum flower diameter (6.2 cm), flower yield by both number of flowers per plant (74.28) and weight per plant (248 g) and also vase life of the flower (21.04 days) was observed to be maximum in Ascophyllum nodosum 0.7% as compared to Panchagavya and Jeevambrut applications.
