Abstract

In vitro response of BAP was undertaken with six gladiolus cultivars. The principal component analysis indicated that all the characters contributed to the shoot number and are interrelated. Application of BAP brings about corresponding influence on all the characters which is specific to genotypes. Bellanana, Cream White and Friendship were more responsive. The sequential component analysis indicated that shoot number and shoot weight are more influenced and interrelated.
