Inter-Relationship Among Characters and Path-Coefficient Studies in Gladiolus

The studies on inter-relationship and path-coefficient among 17 characters of 20 varieties of gladiolus were conducted in winter season of 1998–99, Positive significant correlation was observed in number of florets per spike with number of florets remain open at a time (0.537), plant height (0.792), spike length (0.544) and rachis length (0.656) which indicated selection based on thses characters would be effective in gladiolus breeding.
