Evaluation of 40 tulip genotypes was undertaken to assess growth, flowering and bulb production under polyhouse and open conditions during 2001–2002. Polyhouse planting recorded significantly better plant height and early flowering in comparison to open planting but there was drastic reduction in bulb production under polyhouse conditions.
