Abstract

An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of bio-fertilizers with different levels of inorganic fertilizers on statice cv. Blue Diamond under greenhouse. Results showed that 75% NP + 100% K + VC + Azotobacter + PSB significantly increased the growth components like plant height, plant spread, number of leaves and suckers. The flower components like spike emergence, initiation of flower, flower harvesting, spike length, spread and number of branches/spike were favourably influenced by the application of 50% NP + 100% K + VC + Azotobacter + PSB. The same treatment showed highest flower yield (number of spikes)/plant (4.93 spikes/plant) and/m2 (31.4) as against 2.40 and 16.61 spikes with FYM application alone.
