Abstract

An experiment was conducted at Sardarkrushinagar Campus of Gujarat Agricultural University with 10 treatment viz., three concentrations each of GA3,100, 150 and 200 ppm, Ethrel 250, 500 and 750 ppm and MH 250,500 and 750 ppm and with control, in a Randomized Block Design with four replications on African marigold to study their effects on regulation of flowering during rabi season (2002-2003). Among all the treatments GA3 at 200 ppm registered maximum flower yield per plant (82.62 g), and yield per hectare (9617.48 kg) as compared to control (59.46 g and 7018.37 kg, respectively) GA3 150 ppm was per with GA3 200 ppm.
