Abstract

The experiment was conducted at NATP on 'Protected Cultivation of Vegetables and Flowers in Hills and Plains' at the NARP, Ganeshkhind, Pune-7 to study the effect of package of practices for carnation cv. Sunrise under greenhouse environment in RBD with ten treatments (modules) and three replications. The results of the study revealed that Module M4 [(Soil + Compost + Sand (2:1:1) substrate, 20kPa irrigation regime, basal dose @ 200:200:100 NPK Kg/ha + 100 and 200 Kg/ha/yr N and K fertigation through straight fertilizers)] was the most superior as regards higher and quality production of carnation (168 fl./m2/yr.) under greenhouse environment.
