Abstract

In vitro produced protoeornis from meristem of Cymbidium Soul Hunt I cultured on Nitsch media containing 0.5 mg/1 BAP took 15, 12, 16 and 20.3 day for formation of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th PLB's, respectively. Presence of BAP alone in the medium suppressed the leaf development. Maximum number of PLB's (20) was produced on MS containing 0.5mg/l BAP and 0.25mg/l triacontanol. Plantlets with 3–4 leaves prehardened in paclobutrazol, registered over 90% establishment ex vitro.
