Response of Ga3, Plant Spacing and Planting Depth on Growth, Flowering and Corm Production in Gladiolus

A study was carried out to find out the effect of different levels of GA₃, spacing and depth of planting on growth, flowering and corm production parameters in gladiolus cv. Candyman. The treatments consisted of four concentrations qf GA₃ (0, 100, 250 and 500 ppm) as foliar spray, three plant spacings (20 × 20, 30×20 and 40 × 20 cm) and two depths of corm planting (5 and 10 cm). Gibberellic acid @ 100 ppm, plant spacing of 30x 20 cm and planting depth of 10 cm resulted in maximum plant height, number of leaves/plant, length of leaf and corm production.
