Abstract

Present investgations were earried out to study the effect of defferent pulsing treatments with growth regulators in tulip cv. Cassini. The basic preservative solution of sucrose (3%) + 8HQ (200 ppm)+ citric acid (300 ppm) was suplemented with GA3(50 or 100 ppm) and BA (10 or 20 ppm). In all, 10 treatments were tested in CRD thrice. The maximum vase life (6.82 day) was recorded with BA 200 ppm followed by GA3, 100 ppm (6.46 day) which tulip cut stems pulsed for 4h duration.
