Abstract

A study was conducted in tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa Linn.) cvs. Mexican Singh and Pearl Double by dipping the bulbs in different concentrations of GA, (0,25,50,75,100 ppm) for 12h duration. GA3 @ 100 ppm was found to be the best for early initiation of flowering, more spike length and weight of spike, more number of florets/spike and spikes/hill. Bulb production was also higher in the same treatment.
