Dentigerous cyst is the most common type of developmental odontogenic cyst which is formed by accumulation of fluid between the reduced enamel epithelium and crown of an impacted, embedded or unerupted tooth. The cystic lining is a thin fibrous connective tissue wal/lined by 2–3 eel/layered thick flat epithelial cells. Secondary inflammation causes various histopathological changes like hyperplasia, degeneration and break in continuity of epithelium &excessive resorption of bone. Here, we present a case report of infected dentigerous cyst involving permanent mandibular right canine.
