Abstract

Epigenetics is the branch of biology that studies the causal interaction between genes and their product, which bring the phenotype into being and suggested that the development of undifferentiated embryos could be changed by epigenetics. The mechanisms underlying epigenetic alterations are complex and involve DNA Methylation, Histone Modification, and gene regulation by Non-coding RNAs. Epigenetic characteristics are being extensively researched in the field of medicine and biology, thereby being reported the effects of epigenetics on pathogenesis.
