The use of self-ligating bracket systems has increased dramatically in the present decade, as they have been credited with displaying significantly lower levels of friction, dramatically less chair-time for arch wire removal and insertion, and promoted improved oral hygiene maintenance. This article consists of three cases treated with Damon 3MX Self-ligation system, highlighting alignment of teeth with dento-alveolar expansion using the light forces as generated by this appliance.
