Abstract

The susceptibility towards Dental caries, host as enamel, agent as salivary bacteria interactions and environment is compromised by dietary factors with an admix of genetic variations contribute to dental caries which if evaluated on timely basis contribute to prevention of the disease. Dermatoglyphic pattern evaluation as a diagnostic aid, dental caries, malocclusion and bruxism has been an alarming and ambitious field in the arena of Dentistry. Dentists already have invested timely concerns in the arena of advances in dentistry. The current paper aims to direct to unfold some nascent factors focusing primarily on Dermatoglyphics and the above mentioned lighted fields.
