Pyogenic granuloma is a tumor like growth of oral cavity that is non neoplastic in nature. It mainly occurs in second decade of life in young females becouse of vascular effects of female hormones. The lesion has predilection for gingiva. Clinically oral pyogenic granuloma is a smooth or lobulated exophytic lesion pedunculated or sometimes sessile base, which is usually hemorrhagic. Although excisional surgery is the treatment of choice for it. The purpose of this article is to describe a case of pyogenic granuloma.
