Abstract

Fixed functional appliances are designed to provide a simple non-compliant solution to orthodontic Class II treatment. Molar correction can be achieved very quickly using these appliances [1, 2]. Unilateral fixed functional appliance has been used often to correct Class II molar or correct midline discrepancies (Ross et al. J Orthod 2007; 34(March): 2–5). This case report documents correction of Class II division I using a unilateral fixed functional appliance.
