Aesthetic replacement of missing maxillary anterior teeth, lost due to trauma in a very young patient, is a very great challenge, particularly when replacement by implant supported prosthesis and conventional FPD is contraindicated or when the patient does not agree for an implant, conventional FPD or RPD therapy. In such cases, fibre-reinforced composite resin FPD can be used as a definitive treatment alternative in certain clinical situations for aesthetic and functional replacement of a missing anterior tooth. To achieve desirable results, putty matrix was used for proper positioning of the pontic while direct fabrication of fibre-reinforced composite FPD.
