Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a malignant tumor involving the salivary glands, rarely developing in the nose or nasopharynx. The biological behaviour of adenoid cystic carcinoma is characterized by slow growth rate, high tendency to local recurrence and metastatic spread. Its histological features are particularly important for prognostic prediction: solid pattern has the worst outcome. The Authors present a case of a rare adenoid cystic carcinoma in a 35 year old married female with history of mass located in nasal cavity with left eye ptosis and proptosis. CT scan revealed nasal mass involving right half of nasal cavity extending into left half of nasal cavity and left retroorbital region thus causing left sided proptosis and ptosis. After investigations patient was posted for endoscopic removal of mass. Patient improved after surgery.
