Abstract

Sialolith of parotid gland is comparatively less frequently reported than that of submandibular gland. It accounts for about 4–10% as compared to 85% reported for submandibular stone. This is mainly because of the existing anatomy and viscosity of salivary secretions. Various treatment modalities are advocated for removal of sialolith, ranging from conservative method to aggressive method. We report two cases of parotid sialolith removed with minimal invasive techniques.
