Abstract

Ankyloglossia or tongue-tie is a congenital anomaly characterized by short lingual frenulum. The condition may vary in its severity causing various problems in feeding, speech, occlusion, and affect the development of jaws. The article reviews the anomaly from its epidemiological and clinical perspectives and management protocols for ankyloglossia along with a case report.
