Periodontal diseases are complex processes with strong cause-effect relationships proven between the accumulation of supra gingival plaque and the development of gingivitis. Mechanical plaque control remains the best approach for the prevention and treatment of gingivitis. However, management of periodontal disease depends on the patient's capacity for oral self-care. Here, we report an interesting case of unusual brushing habit of the patient who brushed only on left side of upper and lower arches.
