Recently the laser has gained attention as an effective tool to manage orthodontic treatment and enhance our esthetic out comes with greater results with a blink of eye without any pain. Low energy laser irradiation (LELI) can significantly reduce treatment time by accelerating the velocity of tooth movement via stimulation of alveolar bone remodeling. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview regarding safe and proper use of soft-tissue lasers in orthodontics.
