Abstract

Airway is a passage noted from your nose, mouth including throat, windpipe and lungs. When undergoing surgeries under GA it is important to maintain the airway of the patient till the procedure continues. Oxygen is the gas to be provided during the procedures and other gases are eliminated from your lungs. It is frequently performed in critically injured, ill or anesthetized patients to facilitate ventilation of the lungs, including mechanical ventilation, and to prevent the possibility of asphyxiation or airway obstruction. That tube is ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE
