Palate perforation is a rare condition and can be due to many causes. Acquired palatal perforations can be caused by developmental disorders, infections, malignancy, and drug abuse. We present a case of palatal perforation in an elderly patient who was immunocompromised. The infectious and noninfectious causes of palatal perforation and their differentiation are emphasized in this report.
