Due to hormonal imbalance, there are oral diseases to manifest ,which need radiographic intervention as a radiologist takes responsibility for taking the radiograph .The radiologist following the ALARA and ALADA principle before taking the radiograph, and dose is 50mGy, which is considered a safe amount of fetus radiation, that won't harm the unborn child and thus prevent complications transferred to the fetus. As long as proper protocols are followed during radiographic exposure management, it is possible to reach a proper diagnosis and management in a correct and effective way. If the equipment is in good operating condition, it is safe to do medically indicated diagnostic examinations at a distance from the fetus , such as radiography of the dental and chest or extremities. In most cases, the risk of radiation exposure is much less than the risk of undiagnosed.
