Pyogenic Granuloma - A Case Report

The pyogenic granuloma is one of the very common benign proliferation of capillary sized blood vessels seen in the oral cavity^{1, 2}. This term is misnomer because the lesion is unrelated to infection & in reality arises in response to various stimuli such as low grade irritation (e.g. calculus, a fractured tooth, rough dental restorations), traumatic injury/hormonal factors³.
