Replacement of missing teeth over the Osseo integrated dental implants is fast becoming a standard care in the present day dentistry. Factors influencing the Osseo integration are grouped as host factors of healing, quality of surrounding bone, quality of surgical technique and post-surgical care/loading. In conclusion it seems probable that case selection, proper planning, surgical and prosthetic protocols will result in successful Osseo integration and clinical outcome.
