Association between obesity and periodontal diseases

To investigate the association between obesity and periodontal disease.

1. To determine body mass index of the subjects based on height and weight measurements. 2. To assess periodontal health of the subjects. A total of 80 subjects were included; 40 obese and 40 normal.

A total of 40 obese and 40 normal subjects from the outpatient department of eriodontics, K.M. Shah dental college and hospital were included for the study.
