Abstract

Regional Odontodysplasia is a rare localized developmental condition that can affect both primary and permanent dentition. Its etiologyisstill unknown. Clinically, the affected teeth have an abnormal morphology and are typically discoloured. Radiographically, these teeth show a ‘ghost-like’ appearance. This paper reports a case of a 9-year-old Indian male patient presenting with completely edentulous left maxillary arch. The condition was diagnosed with the help of clinical examination and extensive radiographic examination including CBCT.
