With the ability to delineate distinct anatomical features, radiographs and hence forensic radiology that plays a pivotal role in human identification. Imaging inn forensics has evolved over time with increasingly progressing technological advances. This has made forensic radiology an integral part of forensic medicine. This article intends to review the history, utility and basic principles of forensic radiology in Dentistry.
