Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during 2016–2018 to standardize the time and site specific dose of nutrient application and to evaluate the effect of fertigation of major nutrients and foliar nutrition of micronutrients in bhindi variety ‘Arka Anamika’, to assess the impact of nutrient on yield and quality of the crop. The results revealed that the fertigation given at two days interval (T1) and application of 100% RD NPK (L1) along with foliar application of micronutrients at 4 per cent concentration recorded the highest plant height, stem diameter fruit number, and fruit yield. Comparison between treatments and controls revealed that superiority of fertigation treatments over both the control and within controls Control 1 was superior over control 2.
