Brinjal production and productivity is affected due various biotic and abiotic factors. Among the biotic factors Sclerotiona blight (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) is one of the destructive diseases. It causes huge loss in economic yield as well as reduction in the quality of fruit. Among different control measures strategy use of resistant variety is the most promising and environmentally friendly method. In present investigation forty-five germplasm of brinjal were screened against sclerotinia blight under natural field condition. Out of forty-five germplasms viz, BRLVAR-3, BRRVAR-1, BRRVAR-15 were found resistance against Sclerotinia blight, however 35 germplasms were found moderately resistance, and 7 germplasm found moderately susceptible and none of germplasms found susceptible to highly susceptible.
