Abstract

Application of recommended application of fertilizer varies from various cropping patterns. The present investigation is a piece of investigation of the recommended application and its effects on various properties of soil under maize- wheat cropping system. The field experiment was conducted on a pre-established long-term experiment laid out in randomized block design (RBD) with six treatments; each replicated three times. The Wheat variety HPW-236 has been used for the experiment. It has been observed that the continuous application of inorganic fertilizers alone or in combination with FYM improved soil organic carbon, cation exchange capacity, available N, P, K, DTPA extractable micronutrients, and enzymes activities over the unfertilized plots.
