Abstract

The study ravels that the major constraints faced by arid fruits (Ber, Lime, Aonla, Lasoda) growers of Jalore (Rajasthan) were poor economic condition of farmers (93.75 percent), lack of knowledge of irrigation management (90 percent), lack of knowledge about time and methods of training and pruning (90 percent), plant population is difficult to maintain due to adverse climatic condition i.e. drought & frost (88.75 percent) and lack of technical guidance towards plant protection (85 percent). For overcoming constraints farmers wanted transport facility and information about marketing.
