The present study was conducted to screen for the presence of ech33 gene in 80 isolates of Trichoderma belongmg to three species viz.T. harzianum, T. virens, and T. viride. Gene specific primers of ech3 gene were designed and subjected for PCR based screening. The presence of gene was observed m 73 Isolates. Seven Isolated did not show amplification and belonging to different species, but they are from same place and showing similarity.
