Abstract

Liquid biofertilizer formulation is the promising and updated technology of the conventional carrier based production technology. Comparative performance of liquid and carrier-based bioinoculants were studied for content and uptake of NPK for sunflower. It was found that The combined application of the microbes enhanced the content and uptake of NPK better than individuals application. NPK content and uptake by sunflower was significantly the highest noted in dual inoculated plots (T8) with liquid form of Azotobacter and PSB over other treatments but was found statistically at par with carrier based source (T5). Both of these treatemnts i.e.T8 and T5 were superior over their single inoculations and control plots.
