Abstract

Criminal acts involving removal of external sexual organs of a male particularly of younger age group to convert them into third sex forcefully known as eunuchs or hizras in our country, although not commonly but are being regularly reported with allegations of this heinous crime against Hizra community. The victim if refuses to join the mainstream of that community, is bound to be subjected to widespread medical, social, emotional and psychological complications on one side and the alleged propagators of the crime facing serious and multiple legal implications on the other side. It is obligation on the part of medical and legal experts to answer the problem keeping in view the interests of the society as well as nature made eunuchs.
