Abstract

Suicide has achieved an epidemic proportion in among the medical students of our Country. This is an alarming trend. Saddest part being, these young students, after putting lots of hard work, gets admission in a Medical College. They are choosing a fatal end, which is preventable. The way out of this problem is a difficult. The answer may lie in providing professional counselling and creating opportunities for de-stress and recreational activities during their stay in Medical College.
